Rangers Look to Overcome Yet Another 3-2 Deficit

The Rangers find themselves down 3-2 in yet another best-of-seven series, and look to continue their improbable success in such situations. Of their last five times being down 3-2 in a playoff series dating back to the first round in 2012 against Ottawa, the Rangers have came back to win four of the series.

While its impressive that the Rangers have overcome such deficits at a high frequency in recent history, it would of course be more impressive if they were to not get in the deficits at all. But here we are.

The Rangers lost 2-0 in their opportunity to guarantee themselves two chances to play for another Cup Final appearance.

Mats Zuccarello is with the team for Game 6 in Tampa Bay, but will not play tonight.

The Rangers are now at their lowest chance of moving on according to my forecast since they were down to 15.92% after Game 4 against Washington.

Game starts at 8:00.
